Stephanie’s Birthday Party At The Vikings in Manila, Philippines

It was the birthday of our prettiest sweetie baby STEPHANIE on Nov. 07, 2018. It was her 3rd-year birthday celebration and it will be held this time at  The Vikings -MOA in Manila, Philippines. It was indeed a big surprise not only for our celebrator, our Princess Stephanie but also to her grandmother from the Philippines who have not seen her since birth. It was the family’s ever biggest celebration and that is the birthday celebration of the MOST PRECIOUS and VERY IMPORTANT PERSON of the family our PRINCESS STEPHANIE.

Since it was a big surprise every detail of the preparation was done by her mama Lalaine (that’s me) on-line. From the venue down to the balloons were all on- line preparations. Everything has been carefully monitored on-line by mama Lalaine to provide the best birthday party celebration of her only child Stephanie. It was indeed a success because all went very smoothly. It was a birthday party celebration a child would ever wish for. All the best expected in a children’s birthday party were witnessed. Face painting for everyone young or adults can enjoy, toys for all the kids who joined the games, cakes, the presence of Micky mouse and Minnie mouse, bubble dance presentation participated by volunteered kids, magic presentation by a clown and the best unlimited delicious foods and drinks for all.

Everyone enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience with our Princess as she was usually called by her grandmother from the Philippines her “ LITTLE MISS UNIVERSE”. As the host of one of the biggest events of her life STEPHANIE showed much appreciation to her mama Lalaine and dada Stephen as she kissed her and hugged them with her sweetest smile. She was very appreciative of all the people who attended by saying “ Thank you for coming” table to table and had a picture taken with her. This manner is proof that she was brought up as a very smart and well-mannered young individual.

Everyone is so happy cheering during the games and enjoyed the party as a whole. It was one best gift that a child could ever have and parents could ever give their child. BLESSING, yes! It was a BLESSING! GOD made it all happen to deserving people who strongly and faithfully believed in HIM. The Pearcy family was very grateful for all the blessings God has given them and it’s just one great act to share their blessings to others.

HOW I PREPARED FOR THE PARTY?

I started preparing for the party 3 months before November. I used Google and Facebook to get in touch with my party organizers. For Vikings, they gave me a contract and a party package. I rented the place for 4 hours and the food for the guests was included with the package. I hired party decorators from It’s Party Time Philippines to decorate the venue. They presented different themes and prepared the place 2 hours before the event. I was so impressed with their professionalism and creativity. I might use them again for my future events. For entertainment, I hired a freelancer entertainer from Quezon City. He gave me a package. Clowns, bubble dancers, mascots, sound effects, and games for 10,000 pesos. It was a pretty good deal!

For party souvenirs and prizes for the games, I contacted three different shops and I even went to Divisoria to do my shopping with the help of my mom and my sister. The first shop for customized pillows, the second shop for customized mugs, and the last for the cupcakes that have the Pinkilicious logo on it.

Aside from the cake provided by The Vikings. I ordered a customized cake, decorated based on the party’s theme. I really loved the design and I will recommend them again.

I hired a videographer and photographer from Rio Jones and to be honest with you, I was disappointed and frustrated with the quality of the video. It didn’t turn out the way I was expecting it.  But the photos were good and I liked them.

HOW MUCH WAS MY BUDGET FOR THE PARTY?

I don’t have an actual budget but I tried to save and use free and cheap resources. I feel that I still being practical with the money I spent and how the party turned out. If I hired a professional party organizer, It would be more expensive compared to organizing it my own. This experience taught me how to do things on my own. Maybe I could be a party organizer or event coordinator. It was not an easy job but if you have time, resources, patience, and passion it is a fulfilling job especially when you do it out of joy and love.

I love that you don’t go over the top with budgets and fancy decorations that could lead up to a huge bill, everything looks perfect and age-appropriate. Some of my closest friends have a kid – or two – and boy, it can go downhill FAST! I understand trying to make a birthday memorable, especially for a toddler, but what’s the point in having a huge party for a one-year-old?! I’m talking about renting huge bouncy castles, fancy food, catering and expensive cheese boards. She won’t remember anything!
